As we know the story of an old man who was anxious because his sons were for all time fighting. He was frightened that the family would be relatively broken up when he passed away. So one day he called his sons simultaneously, and showed them a pack of sticks, and asked them to break them for him. They tried however they were muscular, each and every one of them failed. Then he opened the bundle and told them to break every stick one by one. This they did simply. In this approach he educated them that union is strength.
Take a football or hockey players. If the associates of the team play jointly and facilitate each other, they will shape a muscular team. However if they are break up into parties, when they play in a game some will play poorly or slowly, for the reason that they are envious of the others, and the players will lose the match.

Occasionally a school or an institution is spoilt as the members of the staff, or the board, are separated;and while they are fight, the work is ignored, and the university or school goes downward. Often an entire town suffers, for the reason that those repairs the streets, buildings, hospitals, and water-supply, waste their time in calling each other names.

The similar is true in combat. Large army, whose officers hates each other and does not effort together, has been crushed by a minor united army. That is why the grand French general, Napoleon, used to speak, 'Divide and conquer. "He won some of his grand victories by attacking one of his rivals when alone earlier than the others could come up to help out, or he would weaken a complete nation by dividing it up into fighting parties.
