Pears: Pears are very much resembling to apples. These are tasty fruits rich in nutrients and grown in almost all parts of world.

Pears are rich in fiber and vitamin C and vitamin K. Most of vitamin C and fiber are condensed in skin or peel of the fruit so fruits should be eaten with skin. They contain highest amount potassium and zinc; two very healthy nutrients and very effective in preventing heart, blood vessel and skin disorders. Pears also contain carbohydrates, B complex vitamins, iron, copper, calcium and phosphorus.

They are full of energy due to high calorie content and should be given to children and ill patients to attain its health benefits. Vitamin K, a component of pear has the property of regulating blood-clotting system. People having problem of rapid and prolonged bleeding after minor cuts can overcome the problem by eating pears.  Its seeds are bitter and mildly poisonous and should not be used.

Fruit is full of fiber, which lowers cholesterol, relieves constipation and good for digestive system. Calcium and phosphorous contained in it prevents bone degeneration and tooth decay.
